  1. Harsh reality though it is, I love this–great poetic image, as well as the painting/drawing. As I ponder, I’m thinking that sometimes it is that brush cut of madness that actually reveals the depth of personality–like mined silver. So, having survived it, one is richer.


  2. I’ve always considered madness a sort of overly thoughtful ingrown dynamic, a relentless selfishness
    leaving one’s personality ultimately lost and alone for whatever reason. Your poem seams to say that sort of thing much more eloquently and effectively.
