  2. Oh my gosh, Paul–you’ve rendered this crying shame so beautifully. I absolutely love your choices in words, phrases. “I lie bent and broken in a bower of thistledown sorting the leaves of my years with the point of the sword”–this bit is Pulitzer and Nobel worthy, truly. So visual and heart-rending.
