Your last poem on the death mask had me thinking of my mum but I couldn’t find the words to make a comment – it seemed trite to say that my mum had always ‘joked’ to make sure that she had her lipstick on when the time came. And my sisters and I made sure she did. Memories that include the little and large things are the lasting legacy – the face of the ones remembered and loved. Your words evoke so much feeling, Paul, and so much thought.
