  1. You just described the old lullaby of the City for me – which eventually became less a lullaby and more a quest for ear plugs … now I listen to the frogs, crickets and birds that frolic – the sound of the wind, as well as the sound of silence, and in peace I smile at my new lullaby.

  2. Makes you wonder how God can hear those soft whispered prayers. The sirens around her have been merciless the past few days–or maybe it’s me, full moon fevered sensitivity.

  3. Oh that ending–millions of soft whispered prayers lost in the mania…wonderfully written yet again. There are days when the sirens are so prevalent here, I want to scream to drown them out.
