  1. It transitions well from a present personal view to a question about the future: who shall step forward to the plate of modern philosophers, and who to leadership?
    In all, I agree it is sad and disheartening to look around and know that so many won’t ever accept a truth that is clear to myself.

  2. Here is my favourite part of the poem:

    “unwilling to recognize truth
    where it nakedly stands
    cold and shivering
    lonely and lacking respect
    in the ignorant chill
    of ambivalent minds”

    Such a clearly painted scene! And the truth of it too.
