truth ensues trial
a test of the taste
for discovery
sniffed from the
sweat-soured air
with acrid resolve
inhaled challenge
the impetus force
for an introspect
contest a skirmish
within lungs of
conscience who
hold the sweet
gasiform prize of
authentic identity
once and for well
understood and
accepted allowing
an exhale of ease
Wow. “Gasiform prize of authentic identity”.

Really understanding your words as I pack and prepare to move country and sort out all the clutter from the cupboards, sniffing out the truth from the chaos. Really enjoyed reading this poem- thanks for sharing, as always, damien

And that is why I advise people to “breathe in Jesus and breathe out peace.”
