Now that I am back on a proper PC (rather than my awful predictive text mobile of earlier in the day) I think I may send a copy of this splendid poem to the greedy developers who plan to build a housing estate near us on Green Belt land…a type of land precious to a small island and, thus far protected from such development…yet with the Tories back in power the rules begin to change!

  2. Unknown and misunderstood ourselves, we are certain that every reality masks some mystery waiting to be discovered, and if not, to be imagined . . . Poetry wants to see everything as a metaphor or an allegory teasing the heart to look beneath the surface some deeper [or baser] meaning which can help us understand our own mystery . . .
