some days are built of things
objects captured by moments
intended to last for a lifetime
some things are built of days
moments captured by objects
intended to last for a lifetime
neither objects nor things
neither moments nor days
can survive their immediacies
even a lifetime is once and gone
only the soul will endure beyond
entities rife with mortality
some souls are built of grace
spirits captured by blessings
intended to last forevermore
This one really moved me!

ah beaautiful and moving, and i am moved to ponder….all souls built of grace to last an eternity… and even again,…perhaps, ( not being arrogant enough to know the mind of God, i barely/bearly know mine own,) but perhaps, we build our eternities with the blessings we give and those we acknowledge we have recieved.. oh – thank you – for the some many souls – for the blessings of your poem. today. in this transient immediacy.

if it negates free will. I don’t accept it – if it complements free will, then I do – it’s been much too long since I studied my Aquinas
