every last detail
speaks to the eye
shape and color
dimension and
movement the
odd transformation
the violent nature
that sometimes lays
cleave to the calm
life and death
move with tandem
persistence in
passage among
inorganic creations
though never alive
nonetheless undergo
constant change
between points of
existence demarked by
beginnings and ends
every last detail
the living and lifeless
corporeal features
comprising the
manifest quantum
the extant extinct and
the yet unrevealed
bear and share
divine intricate
patterns of purpose
remarkably evident
only to eyes who
are willing to see
isn’t that the truth…beautiful words and stunning image

Personally I prefer incarnational theology, although observational theology has inspired great art, I must admit . . . I appreciate your embracing such a broad range of topics in your poetry . . . And doing it so well . . .

I think that what I’m calling observational is part and parcel of the incarnational theology expressed by the Nicene Creed – not only that a divine Jesus is fully human and the living Word, but that we can also know God by seeing His creations

Some things we see and some things we see anew. Hubble images have a profound effect on me, somehow confirm so much even while so little is clear. I think you captured this beautifully, Paul.
