I am where the valleys are deep, the mountains are high, and the wind moans through trees...
an insight so wonderfully composed. Maybe it is because of all the election stuff going on, but it carries a somber political undertone since as they say in politics: “perception IS reality”

Isn’t it amazing sometimes how so few words can say so much? But that’s what poetry is…God’s shorthand system in beauty.
