  1. I went to the first reunion with some small hope it would be enjoyable; I went to the 2nd, resigned to hope the first one was just an anomaly–be positive, try to have fun, surely it would be an improved experience. It was not. I hear lovely stories about folks reuniting after 50 years or something, and finally marrying their first love–but that presupposes one HAD such a thing in high school. Those gigs must pull in a good chunk of change–the price of hope.
