  1. In the counseling that I do, I often engage clients in discussions about the differences between knowledge and belief, and the limits of both. Knowledge is constantly being upgraded as our set of facts is refined. Beliefs are based on the premises that someone what about existence. Thus, our conversations often shift from the idea of absolutes, to clarifying our set of facts and elucidating our premises.

  3. I was just having a conversation with my best friend last evening about this very topic. One of the things he says all the time is “So you think, so it is…whether it is or not” LOL may sound convoluted but so many times we talk ourselves so strongly into a position that we will assert as correct/true and truth is that we still need to question…
