broken bodies
know time
broken clocks
know of space
all are passing
in fits and in starts
ragged ratchets
of movement
irregular rates
mark erratic
progression along
broken paths
chiming tick-tocks
of chance
broken syncope
stark in encounter
with instants
that alternate
joy and despair
broken sequences
filled with droll
meaningless
meanings
a randomness
tendent toward
living and dying
existence writ small
shooting stars
barely noticed
amid the long
descant of eons
the lightyears
of distance between
then and now
there and here
broken spirits
the cruel
ineluctable
contract and
cost for one
hardly heard
moment of breathing
The story of life well told. Bravo moment, methinks.

Eternally beautiful oneness in your words and the picture. Life is all of that made visible in your poetic images.
