“Waterloo Bridge – Sunlight in the Fog” by Claude Monet
fog sits on my eyes
it obliterates truth
every place I can look
a miasma of gray
hides the blue of the sky
and the green of the sea
but I know they are there
the blue and the green
and the knowing makes
all of the difference
(originally posted December 2013)
so true…knowing that the blue and green are there make all the difference.

oh, I don’t doubt you, but if I may, why? – sadness seems such an unusual craving

Sadness, anger, dissatisfaction and similar negative emotions are my biggest motivators to write. And writing to me is more important than feeling down. Its what makes me feel happy. So its like a circle of creative process for me.

I read you most recent few and I like them – as an old man I have little to offer on the expression of young love, except to say that whatever you write should always correspond to the feelings in your heart – or as poetry it will fail
