“Healing Angel” by Breten Bryden
helplessness
wanting wings
takes the bread
of redemption
anticipates grace
through doxology
chanted in
penitent tones
feeling fortified
exits the doors
to a growingly
secular world

I accept for the believer the way of the world – especially so in a secular Western Europe – must look less than ideal to you. Your fine words express those feelings very well indeed.

I read this again. I really love the profundity of it, and the description of the things I love and cherish. And yes, very sad.
