moral compass gone awry
true north in declension
dragged southward
by weighty exertions
of culture in conflict
rebellion against social mores
communal consensus
of right and of wrong
turned from credos to whims
pulled from underneath
once secure ethical pins
upside down inside out
customs mortally wounded
lay bleeding their wisdom
in clash with fierce armies
of personal paradigms
leaving tomorrow uncertain
the journey unguided
each choice a new agony
I think that that rather sums it all up, Paul. Super stuff.

Seems that the more connected the world becomes, the less direction we have. Following the westward winds to Asia brought European explorers and traders to what have become the Americas. “Go West, young man” traversed our North American continent. With the globe circumfranced and the poles explored, we set out to the galaxies with Star Trek, the Final Frountier. But the ambitions of peacful collaboration, lead us to the past 40 years of Star Wars, which seems to be a science-fantasy retelling of Greek and Roman mythology and history. Where do we go, after we have dropped our compass and it no longer guides us? Yes, a noble question to ask.

You could certainly see your enthusiasm in the article you write. The arena hopes for more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to mention how they believe. All the time follow your heart.
