  1. I like it. Though I a little unclear whether the “tongue-tied masses” are the praying poets or those left out of the conversations AND also without the means to pray.
    And I’m not sure I need to know. That is an ambiguity I might be able to live with.

  2. I don’t fully agree with you here, Paul. I think while poetry can be prayer, it can also be much more: an extension of ones self not just to God or for meditation but as seed for thought in others, as a beginning of a conversation, even as the conversation itself. That being said, I love your use of alliteration and narrative structure. I hope that my poetry can one day inspire the emotions that yours do in me.
