“The Reader III” by Tamara de Lempicka
Time for a pause from my poetry to acknowledge a remarkable milestone for this blog. Today it surpassed 350,000 reader visits. To say I am dumbfounded would be an understatement.
Bless you one and all for taking interest in my poetry. I never would have imagined receiving as much enthusiasm and encouragement as you have given to me.
It’s becoming more difficult for me to write every day, so I have taken to re-posting many of my earlier works. I hope I can continue to sustain your interest and the many friendships born of our interactions.
With utmost gratitude and affection,
Paul
I always enjoy your writing. Well done and thanks for your angles!

Your poetry is a delight, terse and always insightful. Do keep writing, though your reposts are novel to me too given I m new to WP.

I know! Isn’t that awesome!
I go to open mic’s (never been featured) and read for 6-10 people. while I was reading at the local Library last week, a lady with tattoos you shouldn’t notice, got up and excused herself to go the work. I nodded with understanding, continuing to read to the 7 that were left. 🙂 The world is our stage now. Great work my friend.

Hey! Firstly, congrats!!!! And OF COURSE You will hold our interest. Wonderful poetry can be read and reread and reread and discovered anew every time. And Yours is sooooo wonderful. It makes sense You would need a break. The cycle of everything needs to refresh and take breaks. Rest easy…..have fun…..and Cheers!!! 🙂

Congratulations on your newest milestone, Paul. I’m sorry to hear that writing is becoming more difficult for you. The richness of your poetry is there for us to mine for a long time to come. Thanks for your gift of the Daily Post I save until last to read – like dessert. ❤
