push your voice
through the tubes
time has turned
into ears
say the things
that will rearrange
meanings to smell
of torn truth
speak the cause
of opinion inculpable
drawn like a wire
through a die
utter sequels to
stories that grow in
the sunless suspicion
of fiction
whisper distractions
to alter the courses
known by the mind
of the wind
express yourself
shamelessly showing
us all despite words
who you are

Town cryer to front page they tarnish the worthiness of pure fiction as is their want. An incest of words when fact and fiction breed. Cracking poem, Paul

your splendid turns of phrase make me feel like I’m a character in one of your remarkable stories – thank you, mike

Fascinating picture. Hurrah for your last verse and the possibility that our beings lie beneath our freely spoken words. Maybe the medium is the message still.

oh yes – but I meant the small minds and hearts label for those who were doing the wounding

Oh…yes… Sometimes the whole “forgiveness” thing gets messy…takes extra patience for a wounded mind/heart.
