Paul, I found your poetry very interesting and thought-provoking—some particularly spring to mind— the “Mix Up “. and “Brooklyn Bridge”. The whole concept of the American Dream is fascinating—its successes and its lamentable failures. Your other recent poem, “Jawbone” also made me realise how vulnerable we are when in the hands of the wrong surgeon, doctor, judge etc. Yes, I liked the sentiment which had the resonance of a street-fighter’s tone. Well worth following!

Not really the case, I’ve been staying awake most nights to make up for flunking the first few mathematics tests so naturally the clapping is sluggish.
*Slow clap* was more for realism than sarcasm.. now that I feel well rested… *proper clap*
Besides, slow clap has a secondary use which is a gradual build up of applause.. as if the audience was initially dumbstruck and then after returning to its senses it gives the performer a standing ovation.
