cold
math
reckons
old man time
icy with boredom
existential infirmities
render intellect stagnant wisdom out of fashion

“New Waves of Change” by Ed Swarez
change
comes
bearing
no summons
unsettling stasis
sowing seeds of uncertainty
thrives on abrupt rearrangement of unwitting life

function and form in
organic outgrowth of landscape
employing remarkable cantilevered design
wright had an uncanny sense of genius loci

Fibonacci 8
Buy
No
Excuse
For more than
The cost of failure
Fibonacci 9
Run
For
Your life
Or perish
From apathetic
Self-satisfied citizenry
Fibonacci 10
Black
Curse
Befalls
Anyone
Crossing the shadows
Dragons cast upon moonlit grounds
Where not even magic of wizards can rescue you
Fibonacci 11
Purge
From
Your veins
Infectious
Hedonist microbes
Before they consume a new soul
Inflicting the pain of pleasure and lost compassion
Leaving a humanoid husk of intractable selfishness, courting catastrophe
Fibonacci 12
Cut
Swaths
Bravely
Through jungles
Dark with ignorance
Overgrown with choking tendrils
That bind up the intellect, stunting development
Of mechanisms for perfecting mind, body and soul of the whole human being,
Reducing mankind to a race of idiot drones, unable to fend for themselves beyond filling bellies from accidental harvests
Fibonacci 1
To
Write
Is to live
Inside of your mind
Fibonacci 2
Math

Supreme
Over words
Forming foundation
For expression of conception
Fibonacci 3
Love
Hurts
Mostly
Younger hearts
Whose fragile notions
Of romance break so easily
Fibonacci 4
When
Did
Culture
Find root in
Permissive values
Sprouting unsavory branches
That drop their poisonous fruit upon hungry masses
Fibonacci 5
Deep
Down
Where lurk
One’s darkest
Irrational fears
Works the engine of self-loathing
That transmogrifies men into merciless tyrants
Fibonacci 6
Man
Acts
Within
Ethical
Boundaries only
If morality was instilled
During boyhood years of character development
Requiring a family environment that incubates genuine integrity
Fibonacci 7
Phi
Tells
To all
The golden
Number that conveys
The mystical Golden Ratio
Fundamental to an aesthetic geometry
That gives pleasing comprehension of the arts and cues the abstract beauty of nature

Sometimes everything has to be enscribed across the heavens so you can find the one line already written inside you. Sometimes it takes a great sky to find that small, bright, and indescribable wedge of freedom in your own heart. David Whyte
