nothing finishes
least of all life
what exists is forever
the matter of memory
no less a substance
than hard bone or stone
no such thing
as atomical finity
ever was always will be
even though it may
undergo change
as conceived
by a mindful
deliberate cosmos
whose thoughts
interchange
between order and chaos
but never forget
every element
born in the bang
that established its
outreaching realm
Amazing words.

Monday philosophy lesson put to your pen…a little clearer and with more panache than Descartes methinks

nothing quite as elegant as his “I think, therefore I am”

You’ve just made order from chaos in one fell poetic swoop.

Inspiring poem, Paul. Knowing that all that is and has been will be is such encouragement to live a rich and giving life.

True. If energy in the universe is constant, then we will always exist in one form or another. Maybe the belief in reincarnation is not so far fetch as we Christians would like to believe.
Beautifully written.
