when time seals
shut my mind
and flesh flees
from my bone
will the mark
I leave behind
impress the

I really like this, it’s something I often wonder; what do I leave behind?

I believe with your family and all your poetry you will leave behind much. I less so– no children. A question we all can ask and that I think of often and well-captured by your poem in few words.

it’s a function of all the people we touch in our lives – family notwithstanding

It has always been my dream to leave something behind, now I am happy to say I have in my writing, which hopefully family in years to come will know who I was and how I experienced life. I have no fear of passing over, my fear would be passing over before I have somehow made a mark! You my friend have left a huge mark. You should be proud.

Well rest assured you have fulfilled your task 😉 I think it must be something we all ponder on as we get older and awaken more spiritually .
