push your voice
through the tubes
time has turned
into ears
say the things
that will rearrange
meanings to smell
of torn truth
speak the cause
of opinion inculpable
drawn like a wire
through a die
utter sequels to
stories that grow in
the sunless suspicion
of fiction
whisper distractions
to alter the courses
known by the mind
of the wind
express yourself
shamelessly showing
us all despite words
who you are

Since moving East of Eden most of us, especially men, have lost their voices in that which your poem addresses . . . We are afraid that we will be found out . . .

Having grown up amidst lies, innuendo, etc–the smell is repugnant to me. The sequels of stories, largely biased, short on truth–grow and stink like mold, and no whispered distraction ever clears the air.

Paul, I was pleased to see Scott Hastie’s impressions of your writing shared here. Scott has been a wonderful friend and I would encourage your readers, and yourself, to engage in Scott’s poetic writings through his website linked here. Scott is an accomplished author/poet and I was truly drawn into his writing from my very first reading.
