My WordPress is on the fritz. I’m at a loss to understand it or do something about it. The Reader won’t let me read or comment or like anything. Can’t get into the sites I follow or into your posts. Can’t create new posts of my own with their new post writer format (this was written with the old tool). If you don’t hear from me, it’s not because I’m ignoring you.

I was having the same problem. WP has been a bit weird lately. Not sure what is going on….

Seems to be only from the computer version only. My phone app is working fine. My reader also started functioning wrongly yesterday. Wouldn’t let me select blog posts or change tafs I wanted to browse articles in on the left

on chrome now, no problems. seems to be a IE issue. could be related to MS’s plans to move people away from IE to chrome

I thought MS was moving away from IE to their new web browser, Edge. I installed it when I did Windows 10, and have had no issues using it.

If you go on the web using Internet Explorer, as of today, Microsoft (its creator) has abandoned it. Microsoft created a new web browser called Edge, which it is pushing everyone to use. If you install it on your computer, or use Google Chrome of Mozilla Firefox (2 other web browsers) maybe you won’t have difficulties with WordPress. Every computer has a “default browser” it uses when you go on the Internet. You need to check your computer’s setting to see which browser it uses as default, and if it uses Internet Explorer, change it to one of the other three I mentioned. If you don’t know how, get a young person to do it. They know more about computers than we do. lol

I’m having the exact same problem. I have to click on each individual blog/website. I cannot comment the usual way. It’s jolly annoying and time consuming. Must an issue with WP.

I am having none of these problems except that the new format does not allow the same degree of easy editing of images so I always have to return to admin to edit the old way. Firefox works too.

This is an unacceptable situation. I hope WP rectifies it soon. I am having problems with the new way of posting, too. I don’t understand why they feel they have to fix something that is working well.

It’s them, not us! Keep messing with things. I’ve had to wangle my way round a fair few times and could scream every time it changes.
