Ancient Illustration of Taurus Poniatowski in Ophiuchus
red dwarf in the sky
twice as old as the sun
early jewel of creation
moves fast in its arc
between summer night
horns of a bull driven mad
by the snake of Ophiuchus
creatures of near and far time
who give life to forever
and wonder to why
Oh so nice! You might be special indeed, to be inspired by a star!

To look skyward always inspires. In you case, it inspires with a certain unique panache the rest of us strive for.

What a fabulous finale, Paul–and I think we were star sparks crossing each other’s path last night: I was watching a very brief PBS feature that the network slides in between the Red Green Show episodes on Saturday night; and I thought of you for some reason, as we got a lesson on the dragon and scorpion on view currently in some parts.

the stars are always there above us whether we see them or not

I know, but it’s a bummer to live in an area where I can’t see them–too much traffic, light…I have to be grateful I can catch the moon! 🙂
