lie face down
in your coffin
watch the earth
rise and mingle
decayed
flesh with fibers
of ghost songs
that crawl through
deep ears of leal
organic ancestry
elegant compost
of silence and soil
lie face down
in the coffin
see first-hand
that clean wonder of
death become life
different vitelline
livery warming
cold souls
disembodied
now free to attach
to fallopian
tunnels of time

By the way I recall somewhere in the Boxing Day mists of fine wines I said I was purchasing your new book – the first one I have decided to buy where the author is a fellow blogger. So as you know it was not a nonsense I wrote I can confirm the order placed with Amazon UK should be with me of Saturday! I am looking forward to reading the crafted words of a proper poet. Thanks for the link.

Wow! Fantastic! I just love “fallopian tunnels of time” and of course, the whole concept. It is great to read a poem by you on rebirth. I, I think like you, was raised Roman Catholic at age 7 but now lean towards Yogananda and Hinduism, and one major reason why is the belief in reincarnation.

I’m still very much Catholic, but fascinated by eastern religions since I studied them in college
